Delta Magic is looking to hire a talented, motivated Program Manager to lead the Coalition and Capacity Building Program. This position is a full time role and we expect you to start contributing immediately.
Program Manager
Responsibilities
Coalition Building
Meet with community stakeholders to plan and host monthly round-table discussions.
Track notes, goals, and outcomes from each round-table.
Promote the work being done by coalition members to build trust and community investment.
Attend events hosted by community partners.
Event Management
Plan and lead the implementation of quarterly community events.
Partner with at least one other organization for each event.
Manage the budget and KPIs for each event.
Communication
Send a monthly newsletter to our subscribers
Manage the Delta Magic social media presence
Ensure that there is a blog posted monthly that highlights the “magic” of the Delta.
Create flyers and announcements to promote Delta Magic events
Ensure that the Community Calendar, Resource Hub, and Social Media pages are current and engaging
Hunt Center Management
Call Hunt Center renters ahead of their rental to coordinate on the meeting time and address any other questions.
Meet Hunt Center renters on the day of their rental to go over the rules and ensure they have everything they need.
Ensure that the Hunt Center is cleaned, stocked, and organized after each rental by coordinating with the cleaners and Administrative Assistant.
Teamwork
Attend quarterly board meetings to communicate program updates and progress.
Attend weekly team meetings to communicate weekly goals, updates, and needs.
Strong ability to build relationships.
Ability to work a set schedule with flexibility to attend events after work or on weekends.
Ability to work well with a diverse group of people.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
Proficiency with email, documents, writing, and public speaking.
Resident of Phillips County or willing to relocate to the community.
Advancement
Network with local and state leaders, influencers, and community organizers to create more opportunities for the Delta.
Attend conferences and trainings that will further the goals of Delta Magic
Requirements
Experience with communication tools (CRM, graphic design, social media)
Event planning and managing experience
Community development experience
Strong knowledge of the Phillips County community
Preferences
Salary is set at $75,000
