Make an Impact
Each cohort of Rising Leaders designs, plans, and leads a community project that addresses a need that the cohort identifies. Cohort members learn about the issues their community faces and the steps required in planning a project to help address them. Check out the video below to see the Class of 2025 project.

High School Seniors from Central High School, DeSoto High School, and KIPP Delta Collegiate High School.

Teachers must refer students for the program. Teachers can use the application linked above to submit a referral for a student.

The Rising Leaders program is an after-school program for high school seniors to learn about financial literacy and civic engagement.
We will meet every Thursday at 4:30, or we will designate a different day that works better for the cohort at the first meeting. All meetings will be at the Hunt Education Center.
The first meeting is September 8th, and will run every week for 8 months except for holidays.

In order to qualify for all $500 you must attend 80% of the meetings and complete all homework assignments. The $500 will be deposited in a bank account in your name.
