Why We Love Phillips County: Hayden Webb Finds Purpose in Serving the Community
For Hayden Webb, Phillips County is more than a place to live—it's home, family, and the foundation of a life dedicated to serving others.
As a Community Health Worker with UAMS East in Helena-West Helena, Hayden has spent every day since January 2024 helping families access resources, improve their health, and build stronger connections throughout the community. While the job focuses on healthcare, Hayden believes the real impact comes from building relationships.
"I truly love everything about my job because it allows me to care for families as if they were my own," Hayden said. "Every day I have the opportunity to meet someone new, connect with people one-on-one, and be present in the community. That's what this work is really about—being there for others."
That passion for service is rooted in a deep love for Helena-West Helena. Although Hayden left the Delta to pursue an education, returning home was always part of the plan.
"Even when I moved away for school, I always knew I wanted to come back," Hayden shared. "Helena-West Helena is home. In a small town like ours, the people you serve are often the people you've known your entire life, and that makes this work even more meaningful."
Hayden believes one of Phillips County's greatest strengths is its people. While the community often faces challenges and negative perceptions from outside the region, Hayden sees something different every day—a community filled with dedicated residents who are committed to making the Delta stronger.
"Phillips County deserves far more credit than it gets," Hayden said. "There are so many people working behind the scenes every day to make our community better, stronger, and more connected. Those are the stories that deserve to be told."
Looking toward the future, Hayden is optimistic about what's ahead for Helena-West Helena and the surrounding communities.
"I truly believe bigger and better things are ahead for our town," Hayden said. "I'm excited to watch our community continue to grow, and I'm proud to play a small part in helping make that future possible."
Hayden Webb reminds us that the magic of the Delta isn't found in a single landmark or event—it's found in neighbors serving neighbors, families supporting one another, and community members who choose every day to invest in the place they call home. Through compassion, commitment, and an unwavering belief in Phillips County, Hayden is helping create a healthier, stronger Delta for generations to come.
