Helping Everyone Learn Possibilities (H.E.L.P.) is a mentoring program designed to expose youth to careers in healthcare, closing the diversity gap in many related professions.

Since 2018, we have engaged five cohorts of AYLF Fellows who hail from counties that lie along the Mississippi River delta in northwest Mississippi as well as southeast Arkansas, with the cities of Helena-West Helena, AR and Clarksdale, MS serving as primary hubs for programming.

The Dr. Phillip W. Lockhart, Sr. Foundation is established to aid the endeavors of graduating high school students who are attending college and demonstrate an interest in what Dr. Lockhart was most passionate about – higher education.

Thrive, Inc. is a dynamic non-profit organization based in Helena, Arkansas, since 2009, Thrive Inc. guides rural communities to new economic opportunities through rebranding, placemaking, and youth engagement. Local high school students are integral to Thrive’s work through paid internships and after-school civically engaged workshops that introduce creative career paths and skills related to art/design, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
