Delta Circles Launches New Workforce Development Program in Technology

Delta Circles, a non-profit organization in Helena, AR, is excited to announce the launch of a new workforce development program designed to equip local residents with the skills and experience needed to enter today’s fast-growing tech industry. This five-month program combines training, hands-on learning, and career support to open doors for participants ready to take the next step in their career journey.

Program Highlights

  • Tech Training: 120 hours of Cisco Digital Literacy coursework to build foundational technology skills.

  • Hands-On Experience: 240 hours of internship placement for real-world learning opportunities.

  • Industry Certification: 80 hours of financial support and study time to prepare for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) certification. This industry-recognized credential introduces participants to essential IT concepts, including computer setup, software and database usage, cybersecurity basics, and an understanding of IT infrastructure. By earning ITF+, participants demonstrate to future employers that they are prepared to start a career in technology or continue on to more advanced certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.

  • Career Support: Ongoing mentorship and professional development through the Rural Tech Collective, helping participants move forward after the program ends.

Structure & Benefits

  • Program length: 5 months

  • Time commitment: 20–25 hours per week, totaling 440 hours

  • Pay: $29.90 per hour

  • Participants receive a laptop and a two-year Microsoft Office subscription to support both training and future career use.
